Ihedioha accuses Imo government of trying to arrest him

Immediate former Imo State governor Emeka Ihedioha has accused the state government of working with security agents to arrest his supporters.

The planned arrest and scheme according to him, has made him decide to postpone his visit to the state he governed for more than seven months.

Ihedioha debunked the rummour that his scheduled visit to the state was to import thugs and disrupt peace. He explained that his visit to the state is to participate in the ongoing congresses of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), his party.

While speaking, Ihedioha retraited that the massive deployment of security personnel and thugs by the government will not marr him and his affectionados from pursuing a collective vision for a better Imo State.

Since after the Supreme Court judgement of 14th January 2020 which sacked him as Imo State governor, Ihedioha is yet to visit the state.
